Community Resources

Georgia’s Cottage at 318 Dice Street is both our administrative offices and a community center where we host programs for our residents and the community.

Resident Workshops

At Georgia’s Cottage, we host monthly workshops for the residents of Georgia’s House. Topics include building healthy relationships, nutrition, and more. Dinners are provided by volunteers and outside speakers bring new perspectives and support for the residents. Businesses and local service organizations are invited to participate by sponsoring a workshop or a series.

12-Step Meetings

Georgia’s Cottage is home to a monthly woman’s AA meeting where residents and all women in the recovery community can participate in an “open share” meeting.

Community Resources

As a recovery resource center for women, Georgia’s Cottage helps the larger community through programs that reduce the stigma of addiction, guide friends and family in finding resources, and provide information about the impact of addiction on individuals, families, and the community. At Georgia’s Cottage, we host events that celebrate recovery and introduce volunteers and donors to our mission and services.

We also host our Community Pantry from Georgia’s Cottage to provide any member of the underserved population in our neighborhood with food, toiletries, and personal care products at no cost, in an accessible and inclusive setting.
