Georgia's Friends depends on volunteers and individuals in the community to provide support in many ways . . . from serving on the Board of Directors, driving residents, bringing dinners, giving supplies, and working in the office. We have launched a volunteer program to consistently tap this wonderful community of volunteers and most importantly, to help our residents meet their obligations and thrive. One of those volunteers is Annie Sartori.

Annie has served on the GF Board of Directors for three years. She also schedules dinners brought by other volunteers for our bimonthly workshops in the cottage and serves on the events and Board nominations committees. In addition to her time, Annie and her husband Paul are regular contributors to Georgia's Friends.

Deeply committed to ensuring that higher education is available to all, Annie and a partner founded Insiders Network to College, a consulting and advisory service for college bound students with learning disabilities. They managed the business successfully for 10 years and Annie continued to serve as an advisor for another decade. As an active patron of the arts, Annie serves on the Charlottesville Symphony Board and is a member of the National Society of Arts and Letters. Most importantly, Annie is a kind and unwavering supporter of the residents and staff in all she does to advance our mission and vision.
